Alexander Technique Congress 2021 Management UG (haftungsbeschränkt) values the privacy of your personal information and protecting it. This privacy policy explains what information we collect about you (name and email) and why, what we do with that information (pre-booking, mailing list, survey), and how we handle that information. The company responsible for your personal information is Alexander Technique Congress 2021 Management UG (haftungsbeschränkt) for the purposes of the applicable data protection laws (the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (GDPR), together with any implementing legislation, in particular, the Data Protection Act 2018). This policy is part of the Alexander Technique Congress 2021 Management UG (haftungsbeschränkt)’s Terms and Conditions and applies to all information obtained by us.

Photography and filming at the Congress

Please be advised that filming and/or photography will be taking place during the main events of the Congress, in the spaces of the TU. Our photographer will be respectful of individuals, making it clear and visible that she is taking pictures.
If you do not wish to appear in any images captured, please sit at the back of the lecture theater and/or let us know, so that we can take appropriate steps to ensure you are not included. The photographs/film will be used by the Congress to document the events, to share them online and to promote the Alexander Technique in general. Group pictures may also be included in Congress publications or in Congress promotional materials, and may also be published on the Congress website.
Images with prominent or clearly identifiable individuals will require an agreement by the individual in question.

Information you provided if you registered for pre-booking

When you register for pre-booking or to join the mailing list, you voluntarily give us certain personal information, specifically your name and e-mail address. Alexander Technique Congress 2021 Management UG (haftungsbeschränkt) uses a Mailchimp form and a Goggle form to collect information that could be used to identify you, such as your e-mail address, name. We also collect information about your computer hardware and software (IP address, browser type, access times, operating system, cookie information, referring website addresses, pages visited, links clicked). We analyse and use this information to better understand how our users use the website, to maintain and improve our service, and in some cases, to publicly present statistics regarding the Congress (for example with the survey).

 

How we use your personal information

Alexander Technique Congress 2021 Management UG (haftungsbeschränkt) collects and uses your personal information as necessary to transmit information, record pre-bookings and for our legitimate business interests, including operate the Website, understand and improve how our members use and interact with our services, send info about the Congress, as well as respond to requests for assistance. Alexander Technique Congress 2021 Management UG (haftungsbeschränkt) will send a welcome email following registration. We also periodically send service updates to registered users.

 

Storage of Personal Information

Unless required or permitted by law, your personal information will be on our systems only for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, or until you request that the information be deleted in accordance with your right of erasure (see “Your rights” section below). In the eventuality we are required to delete your personal information, we reserve the right to maintain a copy for legal, tax or regulatory purposes.
